In our efforts to encourage the personal development and professionalism of women in the business community, the Women’s Executive Council offers college scholarships to deserving women who are entering or attending colleges in the area. Our first scholarship in 1987 was $500. Since that time, our scholarship commitment has grown to five annual scholarships, each in the amount of $1500.

These awards are made at our annual Women’s Achievement Awards luncheon in the fall, where each recipient’s achievements are acknowledged and a check is presented to the student.

Eligibility Requirements

The student must be registered for at least 12 hours at the University of Central Florida, Valencia Community College, Seminole Community College, or Rollins College (including the Hamilton Holt evening division). Consideration will be given for fewer academic hours with full-time employment. The student must have at least a 3.5 GPA and must be on an educational path to a professional degree. Applications and an official transcript (with school seal) must be received by the Scholarship Committee by 5:00 p.m. on the deadline stated on the application. A high school transcript is required if the student is entering college for the first time.
